One of my favorite girls from middle school in Austin, Texas has just finished her thesis! Saira Schutza was always so inspiring to me, and even though I haven't seen her since we were 13 I can tell she still carries the spirit of that young girl who wrote moving and soulful poetry, played the guitar, and drew women in the most articulate renaissance style our school ever saw. I have already purchased two paintings from her etsy site and I encourage everyone to check out her stuff!

oh, chels, that's so touching. you are sooooo sweet! i miss you lots! i was going thru a bunch of stuff in my old room at my parents' house and came across a shoebox of all the letters and drawings and awesomeness you, jane, bekah and iana sent me when i first moved you to michigan. it reminded me of how much you guys helped me stay happy and not so lonely during my first years here. i miss all of you so!
