Okay, so this is going to be my second witchy woman post. Why is it taking so long for my personal wardrobe to actually reflect these collections that I think are so beautiful? Miss Anna Sui's latest collection is just so star-studded that I can't resist. I am going to have to own a star crown headband, even if it does hurt my wussy head and give me a headache. This all reminds me of a story in my favorite childhood book, Hubble Bubble: A Book of Withches and Wizards, by John Patience, which I think--along with Glenda the Good Witch--sparked my life-long interest in being a witch. The story that it reminds me of is about a witch that lives next door named Mrs. Moon who listens to 70's records and bakes delicious fresh bread.
I want to be Mrs. Moon.

Oh Chelsea! I just got you the most adorable, vintagy hair band for Christmas and now I read this! Too tight hair bands give me a headache too. I'm going to go ahead and send it anyway, maybe you can stretch it out on a mannequin head or just use it as an ornament for a lampshade!
